For the best view follow the Newberry Trail east for approximately                      until you arrive at an opening along the bank. This clearing provides a direct view across the river of an active Eagle nest.  Two adults and several immature birds have been spotted consistently in this area.

A large tree located between the trail and the Lawrence Gym has offered roosting spots for both the mature and immature birds.
