11:00-12:00 AM: A presentation by WDNR Wildlife Biologist, Bryan Woodbury. Bryan will give an overview of data collected through Northeast Wisconsin Alliance‘s citizen/science monitoring program that began in 2009.

*10:30 AM & 1 PM: Raptors – Rulers of the Sky”  Raptor Education Group  View raptors up close to learn about their unique characteristics and also about the work of rehabilitating raptors from health risks due to lead poisoning.

*12 PM & 2:30 PM: An Eagle’s View of the Fox Locks and Its History.” Join historical enthusiast and author,    Christine Williams, as she shares the colorful history of the Fox Locks and the men and families that lived in the lock houses and operated the system.

1000 ISLANDS ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER

*10:00 – 11:00 AM: “Raptor Rehab: The Trials and Tribulations of Protecting Bald Eagles and other Raptors” Wildlife rehabilitators from Wildlife of Wisconsin (WOW) will teach us about some of the common threats to our area raptors, meet and hear stories about some of WOWs educational raptors as well as learn how rehabilitators and even you can protect the magnificent animals yourself.

*1:00 – 2:00 PM: Live Bald Eagle Presentation. Join us for an opportunity to see a live bald eagle up close and learn all about eagle biology, ecology, natural history and cultural connections in an engaging and entertaining presentation by a naturalist interpreter from the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, Minnesota.

*3:00 – 4:00 PM: Live Bald Eagle Presentation. An encore presentation by the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, Minnesota.
